Virtually Together

When lockdown began last March, many of the events in the Youth Aliyah Child Rescue calendar had to be cancelled, but we quickly embraced the wonder of technology and were able to find another way to stay connected with our supporters. 

Over the past few months, our events committee has organised regular virtual Zoom events featuring authors, medical professionals, and musicians. As part of Holocaust Memorial Day commemorations, we were also honoured to host an evening with Ivor Perl, a Holocaust survivor with an inspiring and engaging story to share. So far, we have raised over £3000 to help vulnerable and at-risk children and we look forward to doing more events in the future.
