August 30, 2019Aloney Yitzchak students to produce their own wine

For the first time, Aloney Yitzchak won’t be selling their harvest of organic Merlot grapes to local wineries. Instead, the students will be using them at the village to produce their very own wine.
Thanks to you, Youth Aliyah Child Rescue has provided seed funding for this new programme. Students will learn every aspect of winemaking, from planting to pouring, under the guidance of regional winemaker Rami Bar-Maor. After two years this will become a matriculation track recognised by the Ministry of Education, giving graduates a highly marketable skill set in one of Israel’s fast-growing industries.
We are so proud to support Aloney Yitzchak as they create innovative ways for at risk children to become amazing adults.
